Responsibilities: Working with fellow
team members, maintains existing accounts to assure maximum
sales and outstanding customer satisfaction. They contribute
to the development of the team strategies and performance
targets. They will perform other duties as required. This
position reports to the Sales Team Leader. Contributes
to the development of team strategies and performance
targets. Maintains and reports all required information
relative to sales calls, projected sales, and any other
administrative matters. Maintains thorough knowledge of
marine products and the marine industry. Maintains thorough
knowledge of theboatingexchange.com products. Continuously
updates marine knowledge with new products, standards
and trends in the marine and related industries.

Responds to customer requests and questions regarding
service, products and account information. Analyzes
and rectifies customer concerns using established procedures.

Conducts
sales calls, schedules promotional work and track sales
activities

Develop new business within assigned region or industry.

Gathers
data on marketing trends, competitive products and pricing.

Ensures
technical assistance and information is provided to
customers to prevent or resolve problems with product
performance.

Develops relationships with new and existing customers
and provides information to maximize sales volume.

computer to access and/or update customer records.
Qualifications:
Able

four-year college or university; or one to two years related

before groups of customers or Associates of organization.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts,
interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area,
circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of
basic algebra and geometry. Ability to apply common sense
understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written,
oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving
several concrete variables in standardized situations.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should
have knowledge of Internet software; Spreadsheet software
and Word Processing software.

Job
Summary:
Manages day-to-day content needs for assigned Web sites.
Produces information architecture models and advises on
content, design, and navigation standards for Web site,
working closely with Designers and Analysts on continuous
site improvements. Develops content matrices that detail
Electronic Marketing efforts, and managing ongoing site
improvement projects. Advises business unit senior management
on Web site strategy and tactics. Assists and mentors other
Web managing editors.
Key
Responsibilities:
-
Identifies opportunities to increase the performance
of Web site and related Electronic Marketing campaigns.
-
Develops
project proposals including statements of ROI and resource
estimates, and presents information to senior and executive
level management. Interviews individuals, attends meetings,
conducts research to obtain items for publication, verifies
facts and clarifies information.

Works
with Electronic Marketing management and business unit
to advise and implement strategies and tactics for Web
sites, campaigns and newsletters, including tracking
and reporting.

Seeks
process improvement opportunities and recommends areas
for improvement; conducts "lessons learned"
surveys for Web projects.

Gathers, writes, edits and/or coordinates related editorial
material to ensure dynamic and updated content on the
sites.

Works with IS Web Development to define functional specifications.
Conducts testing (including coordinating various groups
to perform validation testing) to ensure site functionality
meets standards for Web sites.

Organizes material, plans overall and individual Web
page layouts and works to create effective access and
readability through navigation and graphical interfaces.

Analyzes site design and content and recommends improvements
related to graphic design, layout, navigation and copy.
Qualifications:
-
Excellent project management skills.
- Superior
writing and editing skills, experience in web copy writing
a plus.

Proactive and deadline driven; autonomous worker with
ability to be team-oriented

Familiarity with Web communications, architecture and
navigation, design and content strategies.

Knowledge of SEO/SEM

Experience managing Web sites with e-commerce components
-
Proven track record of success/experience in Web marketing
programs.

Proficient in basic HTML and familiar with CSS, Adobe
Acrobat and Photoshop, Web editing tools, such as DreamWeaver;
experience using Web content management system (CMS) tools.
Requirements:
-
5+ years related experience and/or training as a project
manager, marketing manager, producer, editor, Web generalist,
interactive specialist, content specialist.
- Bachelor's
degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related
field from four-year college or university or equivalent
combination of education and experience.
